E.ON has several conference and meeting rooms of various sizes. In consultation with AV advisors from AVS, the premises have been equipped with various types of meeting technology to meet the needs of the meeting type, purpose and goals that exist in the business.
E.ON chose flexible solutions for efficient space utilization
It is important for E.ON that the premises can be used in several different ways, which is why there is the possibility of dividing the large rooms using folding walls with meeting technology available in each part.
In the smaller conference rooms, the computer is connected to the meeting room screen via a USB-C cable, which makes it easy for outsiders to share content from their own computer. In the larger rooms, Barco Clickshare is used, and here you connect your computer to the screen very easily with a dongle.
Room booking for efficient scheduling at E.ON
E.ON has invested in a room booking system from Gingco in all its offices across Sweden to streamline meeting room bookings. Employees no longer have to run around the corridors and crack open the door to see if the meeting room is occupied.
E.ON books meeting rooms in the calendar as usual
With the new digital room booking system, you book a meeting in the calendar as usual and add the room you want to hold the meeting in. The small screen outside the meeting room shows who has booked the room and whether it is free or occupied. Since the screen lights up green when it is free and red when occupied, it is easy to see which rooms are available for ad hoc meetings, even from a distance.
